A lifetime love of nature has influenced my relocation from the city to the Big Roche-a-Cri Creek in central Wisconsin. As a painter, I have shown my work extensively and have had many one-man shows. My art has been included in the prestigious Birds in Art at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, Wausau, WI. Many of my original paintings have benefited world-wide conservation efforts and reside in private, public and corporate collections.
wildlife art, murals, environmentally-sensitive design
What's in it for me?:
I like animals especially birds. I fear that they are disappearing from the face of the Earth and I like to think that my art helps to elevate awareness to that sad possibility. I create art because it makes me feel good and I paint out of respect for the beauty of the animal. For me, the creative process may begin with a single experience, but results in a singular spiritual connection.
What's in it for you?:
The challenge lies in changing the perceptions of those who do not appreciate the preservation of wild things and wild lands.
