What's in it for you?:	I was born and brought up in New Delhi. I joined the National Defense Academy (NDA) as an army cadet soon after finishing school. After three years of basic training at NDA, I joined the Indian Military Academy for advance training and graduated from there in 1972 as a Second Lieutenant to join the artillery branch of the Indian Army. I served in the army for 11 years and then opted for premature retirement in 1983. From 1983 to 2005, I excelled in businesses of security manpower and magazine publishing. Now leading a semi-retired life, I plan to devote more time to writing fiction, non-fiction and short stories, in addition to doing my bit to make this world a better and safer place for all its inhabitants.
